Seen these guys like 5 times and end up sore for days after the show! I would have to say, nothing really comes close to Slipknots music. Not my favorite band of all time, but top 5 for sure. I'd say eeyore and eyeless off their first cd are the sickest.

I heard the mash pits at one of those concerts are fucking hardcore! Eyeless is pretty good, I like surfacing, Iowa, Diasterpiece - but one time when I first got introduced to Slipknot the very first song I listened to was Surfacing! I was head banging in my friends car outside of my mom. After the song stopped, i walked in side and my mom ran up to me and was like, "Are you okay, honey? I told the person on the phone that you were mad and had to go!" I laughed and said I was fine. That's how I got so addicted to Heavy Metal Music.

Ya, I saw these guys at a festival they headlined in Arizona like 5 years ago. Anyways, my boy and I were on the lawn up against the rail that separates lawn from seats and like 10 minutes into their set a huge bonfire rose up from behind us deeper back, all the security guards were called to the lawn to control it.

We both looked at eachother then hoped the four ft rail into the walkway. We were like, "Lets go! Cmon!" yelling at the all the peeps to join in so we could get past the lower guards. One, then two, five, 10 people hoped, then it just waterfalled! :D

It was so sick! so like 60 fucking kids are hoping rows and rows of seats, I ended up storming through this cocktail VIP section were AFCs bring their dates. (fags) Ended up in the pit, ran into my boy, and I shit you not, probably a third of the people in that pit did not have pit-pass bracelets when that show ended.

And ya, those pits are bAAAAd!

Whoa the live version really accents the virtuosity of the drummer. I never noticed how good the drum part is!
