I am pretty inexperienced but am learning quickly. Anyway I had an idea for a situational neg while at the mall or any store really. I wanted to know if you think it would work.

I was in a grocery store the other day and a woman (old) asked me where the cheezits were. I felt insulted.

Would that be a possible shopping neg. To go up to the girl and talk to her like you think she works there? Its like a combo neg/opener

What do you think?

its more of an opener than a neg, I usually ask anyone (staff or shoppers) if im looking for an item

If I wanted to Open in a grocery store, how could I transition past this opener? suggestions?
