The dance floor is pretty easy, relative to bar or grocery store. Since it's loud and talking is not practical, really, your only alternative is to just take a stroll through the dance floor and start dancing with the girls who make and maintain eye contact with you. If she's into you she will typically start freaking you to make sure you don't get away.

IMO taking to girls on the dance floor is asinine. The guys I've seen who were really good on the dance floor follow a prescription of eye contact --> dancing --> number or one night stand. There is rarely ever any in substantive exchange of words.
