I've just off and am wondering whether it's worth shaving before I go out tomorrow or not worth it at all?

If you ask me, I think its better to have no facial hair or a proper beard/goatee or whatever, rather than be halfway there.

What are your opinions on this? Please help a newbie out!

Just like with absolutely every single thing that people ask about pickup, it depends on the person. Some people doe better with direct approaches and some with indirect approaches. Some people look great with goatees and some look awful. Some look terrible if they aren't clean shaven and some look like 12 year old boys unless they have some stubble.

I stopped using a razor to shave my face over 2 years ago. I bought a beard trimmer and use it without a guard in order to leave like a 2 day stubble. I also have a goattee on top of that. Some people with goattees insist on being otherwise clean shaven because the stubble looks bad.

You just have to figure out what works for you.

It depends on your personal taste. I have a personalized style of beardness which is me. I use it also for peacocking. I take care of that before going out. Then again sometimes I show up for day 2 unshaven and I do not care. That is a form of a false takeaway (or neg). I am not needy if I do not care about looking my best!

Wear any kind of beard or not beard you like, it is not that important...
