So to make a story short. Hb 9 i met last week calls me saying she needs help to study for a test.. I need help in what to do to transition from "studying" to something else..... Any advice would help. thanks

- Try to make the benefits of studying appear as mutual as possible, even if it is only for her benefit. This will keep you from looking compliant.

- If you do a good job in helping her to study, it will serve as a DHV, so study hard.

- Take regular breaks. This is a great time to relax and build rapport with her. If you can, go out to eat during one of your breaks. This will serve as an instant date (but don't pay for her!).

- I think its unlikely that anything romantic will happen the first time you help her study, so I think the more realistic goal would be to get a future date with her. Don't do the normal "Would you like to go out sometime?" thing. You need to establish a time bridge, meaning that you will use your breaks to establish some potential places or activities that you would be mutually interested in. If you do this, then its not a big deal to ask her out at the end of the night; you're simply just inviting her to whatever place or activity you both like.

- If you think you do have a chance with her that night, watching some DVDs could be an excellent excuse to spend a little extra time together.

One more thing. You don't have to be overly nice to her. Some playful negging will go a long way in establishing a fun, relaxed SPAM.
