I'm going to New York for a week... Will my english accent help with openers?? Would you agree its a hook in itself?

In my experience, saying that you're a foreigner in a direct way won't have the same effect as letting them find out on their own

I have an accent (Im peruvian), some girls find it cute, others find it sexy, others find it funny, either away, they do notice I have an accent

But I never ever tell them "Hi, Im new in this city, where is the 'blah blah'"

Instead say this "Hey guys, you know where I can find a club around here"?
They will answer "blah blah",
Then you continue talking and someway along your conversation you insert "back home in my place"
this most of the time gets them to ask "where are you from"
you tell them and then all of the sudden youre in a conversation

Having a British accent definately puts you one step ahead in the US. I have been a few times and on every occasion women have approached me after hearing my accent. Sure go out and ask every woman you meet for directions! what have you got to lose?

Agreed. A British accent helps. It helps more when you just talk to them about whatever. Being a foreigner and playing lost is whatever.. open better and your accent will help you out alot. If they put you in the position and you can play lost, sure, but dont open with it. unless they are drunk, then who gives shit(they sure wont)

take your British accent and be suave with it.

A lost man isnt a very alpha man. Just be cool and suave like cuffs says.

Stick to openers that use english slang, that should throw them off a bit
