Hey guys, a little about my situation first. I've known about the game for a while, but usually put it more into my warm approach. I've never done "badly" - but never made any approaches until last week when I got 4 #closes in as many nights. Anywho the one girl that I actually tried to keep in contact with I've been txting a little and I was wondering where to generally go from here (broadly speaking) to arrange a meet and get some feedback on my approach so far for future game...ok so here goes.

Sat (day after)
Scorn: Hey u! hope your not too upset tht i woopd u at armwrestling lnite!* lol how you feeling this fine day?

[*her gambit not mine! - callback humor, also ment i didnt have to reintroduce myself]

HB8: hi ya,yeah still upset about the arm wrestling! you having a good day x


Scorn:Yeh been v busy tho!lol aw bless ya, if your lucky i mite let you have a rematch! better get polishing those guns! x

[suggests the possibility of meeting again if she is lucky - closes the thread]


Sunday
Scorn: hey im bored jus watchin friends.debatin w my housemate, whos funnier, joey or chandler? x

[I actually was, but I could take it either way to neg her]

HB8:hey you ok? I think ross is funniest actually. Im so tired X

[she knows how to game alright!]

Scorn:yeh im gd tnx.tired too, probs hit the sack soon x
[shut her down for not falling into my frame - her suggesting she was tired meant that she probs wasnt txtn back that eve]



Monday:hey u,hows it goin? ive gt alot on this week bt do you fancy goin out for drinks on wednesday?

[no response, so i ignore and dont text till wednesday]

Scorn:hey random question.do you think david bowie is hot in labyrinth?

HB8: hey sorry not replied to you my dear! Yes I like his two toned eyes. how are you? you on facebook? x



Scorn:lol olde skool! Of course I have facebook, who doesn't? "Scorn" x

[I genuinely forgot, and wanted to find out if we were on the same campus]

[calling her out, making myself the thing she is after rather than the other way around]

HB8:My other role apart from party animal is officially facebook stalker. I think its your short hair that makes you look so different. X

Friday(just):
Scorn: Yeh well, you told me your were 29!* I dont believe that for a minute!...you dont look a day older than 28 x

[*I seriously doubt she is, but there is still the slightest chance...so I thought id call her out on it]

i think you need to set up a day 2 before this runs stale. you've kept her in the initial stages and i definately think you've built enough attraction and comfort to get her to commit to a day 2. those friends/david bowe questions are good but don't keep doing them or you are gonna telegraph your intention.

right now you need to start opening a dialog about what your plans are for next weekend. figure out whether or not she is free at a particular time without directly asking her and then fire! set up a low risk, low commitment day 2 location where she can meet you for a lil bit. have a plan to go somewhere else with her that place if all goes well, but keep that a secret.

also, at this point it might help to move towards actually talking on the phone rather than just texting.

Thanks for the advice, Sexcellent - progress has been good yesterday however. (I counted she actually texted me 10 times) I was in town when she was and asked her if she fancied going for a coffee. She couldn't so apologized and suggested we go for one next week - so day two is confirmed now - which is good. We are getting a coffee, but I'm thinking if it goes reasonably well - I might "spontaneously" suggest we go to the outdoor ice rink they have just put in the town center.

Update...meh I think I might have lost this one...she arranged a meet in the coffee shop on wednesday, I spoke to her on fb the night before to confirm, but at like 11am, she txts and apologizes and has to cancel, but suggests friday - same time same place....then this morning she txts me at 9 also canceling...she's been texting me a little today - but she said shes got alot of work and exams and stuff so we should meet up around the 10th....which is pretty far in the distant future.

The thing is, if she wanted to cancel on wednesday and not see me, I don't think she would have rescheduled in the same txt msg...meh it's not like I'm going to lose sleep over this or anything but I was just wondering - why she would do that...I mean yeah she is probably busy...but whats a coffee?

im real new to this but i think you need to wait 2 or 3 days even if she texts you. so when she does she will be more excited to meet up with you. good luck
