Well i need some ideas for what i should include in my about me for some DHV or anything in general... my about me is kinda bland, short and sweet, and isnt funny or anything really. this is what i have now:

Name's Clint, I live in Dayton Ohio. I'm about 5'11 or so, have black hair and brown eyes. I'm all about the partying and were always having people over for some pong and just good ole drinking. I'm easy to get along with and pretty easy going. I'm all about having a good time and love to meet new people. I'm going to School for Mechanical Engineering and work part time as well. Wanna know more? Ask me!

Like i said, im going to college for mechanical engineering. i work part time as a warehouse at a small business in downtown. im really into cars, dont work on them as much as i used to =/ and idk really what else i could add for DHV material =/ lemme know guys!

You should delete the part about ur height and eye color, i believe they can find this somewhere else, right? plus you have pictures... Otherwise it's quick and to the point, as long as the pictures you have match what you say... I think more focus should be put on exactly what pictures you have. Who reads that about me part anyway? When I read some girls' about me, I usually get bored by the second sentence, and begin browsing through their pics.

So yeah man, your DHV is going to be in your pictures... it isn't e-harmony.com, they aren't looking to see if your 47 personality traits match

BlackVenom - People do read the about me on MySpace, but not everyone. Saying that when you are talking to some girl from MySpace, if your about me is visible to her she will more than likely read it as long as it is not to long. Girls are not "visual" like guys are. Yes photos can help you DHV, but so can text.



SX - I would add something about cars in there and that you work on them. But as far as DHV goes the schooling is doing that already for you. Besides that it says you have a goal. You are also going somewhere as well. Which will in turn DHV.

jurupa, "a picture is worth a thousand words". you may be able to explain your interests and personality in a few paragraphs, hell you can tell them you have a 4 foot long wang, but a picture will actually SHOW your interests, and PROVE your DHV.

If you know girls, you know actions speak volumes over words

so i think ill add something about cars in there... is the partying and stuff cool??? ill take out the height and eye color thing too..

And I agree with all that. I am not saying SX should take down the pictures at all. As they are very much needed. But so is the about me. When ever you show a person a picture do you just show the person the picture without saying anything or do you tell the person what they are looking at? My guess is you tell the person what they are look at because other wise they are more than likely be clueless to what is going in the picture. Plus girls are more stimulated by their sense than visual images. So having text there will help you get the girl, because more than likely when you send a message to the girl she is going to read your about me section before she looks at the pictures.

hah i ended up gettin this girl over to party with us friday night i got off myspace. my first online pickup and it was actually not to hard, and she was definately a HB9 =) she turned out to be really cool and VERY funny. she had the BEST comebacks to all my negs i swear lmfao
