To get me into the right frame, I have used this and it does help. I imagine her friend has just come up to me and told me that she's too shy but that she fancies the pants off me!

I keep that frame when I talk to her and everything she says good or bad is because she wants me but is too shy. It particularly helps me with handle anything negative because I just put her actions down to her being shy while underneath she wants me bad.

As long as I maintain that frame, I seem to just say the right things.
