I don't normally post FR's or LR's here due to privacy, but I just found this reaally funny, the way it ocurred. So here goes!

Name: Annabel
Date: A couple of weeks ago
Location: College – library
Duration: 5-10 mins, then via email (a couple of weeks)

Biggi and I were in the library joking about cartoons. Then it ocurred to me that this was a great opener, so I 3-second ruled the HB7 opposite me.

Gamble: "Hey, which is better, x cartoon or y cartoon?"
Her: "X cartoon" (discussing with friend briefly).

From there I neg her for a bit about her choice then leave it. A couple of mins later, I stand up and ask her for her surname. Direct game baby. She gives it without any resistence, so I look it up on the email list and ask her to confirm that her first name is Annabel. I then start EMAIL GAME. HAHAHAHAH.

I sent her 2 emails then, she sent me 2. I then left on a freeze out. She sent me another email a few days later:

"Hey weird friend, I’m bored :s

Thought of a better cartoon than hey Arthur, animals of farthing wood, like the best cartoon eva!"

(My first email was push/pull, something along the lines of, "you seem really cool, but you're a bit too weird for me". I always use this. It compliments them, it negs them, it sets the frame of THEM chasing YOU, it's just so gold).

I replied with more push pull. My reply (a week later?):

"Hey Anna,


Sorry for the late reply weird friend, haha, but Arthur sucks and what the giraffe is farthing wood?

On a separate note, what's the first thing that comes to your head?


I need a piss so bad.

R. Gamble."

Her reply (on the same day!):


"Erm, i'm not sure where the giraffe came into farthing wood, i will have to look that up :s
Thanks for the bladder update, thats something i really wanted to known :p
You are one for the random questions m'dear, but the first thing that comes into my head is censored, the second is i really don't want to go to chem, lets go shopping instead

Notice the kisses appearing from no where. And she trys to set up a day 1 with me in the form of shopping. That's more than an IOI, that's an SOI. Statement of interest.

What can I say, email game works, and I'm in!

She's HB8 with big eyes, my type. Not amazing though, and I don't really want committment, which is what I think she is looking for. She looks like the innocent type which is also kind of annoying. Hmmm. Oh well. Success!
