I was wondering if there were any other good pick ups that you can do after you use the 3 second rule??? Is there any other way to gain attention other than using Magic???? Please give me some examples, I am horrible at Magic, but if it is the only way than shit, you know I'll be David copperfield if I have to. But Im looking for a differnet technique. For example, after you approach a woman is Magic, like you know.... Is that the only way to uuughhh.... Damn... I dunno the PUA lingo but just try and bear with me please... Gimme some different examples...

First of all, I think you´re missing the point. Magic is what Mystery does in the attraction phases of a PU. It´s what HE does. It doesn´t mean that you´re supposed to do exactly what Mystery does. There are numerous ways to attract HB´s, one of them is for instance story telling. Anything a PUA uses to keep a HB´s attention focused on him, is allowed. Mystery´s MM3 method outlines the stages in a PU, which are

1. Attraction
2. Comfort building
3. Seduction

However you fill in those stages is up to you, but I suggest you download chapter 3 (free download) from Mystery Method and try to understand how a PU should be carried out.

I know we have to use our own approaches where possible but I have used magic and tarot for quite some time. There is the occasional hits but misses still about. Does a particular type of magic works?
And what about cold reading and palmistry/mumerology

Actually.. don't use too many magics, you'll become a dancing monkey. What you need to do, is open the set with opinion openers. In my point of view, magic should only be done once or twice as a DHV.
Cold reading is an ESP routine (similar to magic) and palmistry... humn... I usually just bullshit my way through this by using truisms (need to buy a book on palmistry soon though) Use palmistry to escalate kino and gain comfort.

Magic is kinda tricky to use. If you use it as an opener and let the set go outta control they will see you as a performing magician and yes, they will push you into becoming a "dancing monkey". If you are able to gain control and show that you're not only a performer then you will have the chance to be accepted by the group and actually work your game from that point.

I guess it comes down to preference for which you like more (between openers, magic etc.) because in the end it is you who makes your material effective or not.

I agree magic can be an awesome way of getting a HB's attention but you should use it sparingly, check out the situation and the environment first, use it to your advantage not disadvantage "oh there's the guy that can shove a cigarette down his mouth and pull it out of his ass!"
Could I get some more advice on the ESP stuff and also what exactly is the Cube?

hey i have a quick quetion but its not really about magic..

last night i was at the bar trying out this best friends esp trick somehting i font even know haha. anyways it didnt go too well i dont even know the exact routine but i was giving it a try. could someone help me out with that maybe give me some ideas
