Sounds like the hired gun was being nice to you and didn't want to out right reject you, so she gave you a fake number. Nothing bitchy about that. Just so you know hired guns are one of the harder girls to game because they are there to work, not to give out their number to guys that hit on them.

try not to ask girl for numbers directly, its a good way to
a. getting a wrong number
b. get rejected
asking directly can be confrontational, you dont want to ask yes or no questions like that. if you play your game right, you end the convo, but suggest that you finish it at another time (you can do it however you like, but a variation of that is the idea). a girl will be more likely to give out a number if she feels like she offers it rather then it being demanded. you should look into joining the PMZ, some of the vets of the site have agreed to to mentor members, and it sounds like you need a little guidance. or literature.
