A better way to phrase it would have been by saying...

"I'm going to ______ tomorrow at 3. You should tag along."

You COULD try to save that with

"And I never said yes either. " lol just to be an ass

I mean.. it really depends on how things went.. the whole vibe.. for me.. I would have used that.. because it flows with my... big fun tease persona

Update: So I texted her saying "I thought u were supposed to be nice" and she texted back "I thought that about u too." I asked her to lunch but she replied "I dont eat lunch lol." This was yesterday. I havent texted her since. I have a performance coming up on thursday and am thinking of sending a mass type text: "Hey guys im performing 2nite at 6. Make it out if u can." This girl is an old friend and we just recently hooked up so im kinda confused rite now. The thing is that she is a sorority chick and in any case, its a bridge into that scene at my school. Thanks guys, I would appreciate any suggestions, tips, etc.

Ok another quick update, can you guyz plz comment because I need to get bak to her. She texted me last nite saying "So what happened to you bringing me lunch." I was sleeping so I just got it right now. But what should I say to respond. I was thinking of calling her later 2nite and asking her when she's free to chill but let me know.

I agree, but you're blowing it out of proportion (no offense).

All she's doing is bantering with you. She's putting "lol" at the end of the texts, which means she's saying it in a lighthearted way.

The response "I never gave you a choice " would be fine and you could play with the dynamic that you are the demanding guy and that she is the poor little defenseless girl getting swept off her feet.

hey man, texting is one of the most confusing aspects of gaming, at least IMHO. there are a couple of really interesting outlines or guidelines in the forums archives. check them out. it might not be useful for the girl ur trying to get now, but perhaps for future references

Aite Update time: So I texted her on friday asking her to dinner and she texts me back late in the evening saying she just got my text and was busy all day. I called her saturday nite but she didnt pick up and texted me 2 hrs later with "hey u called, what's up." I havent responded to that. I'm gonna give this one more shot later in this week and see where it goes. What do u guys think? Honestly, I see this more as practice than me actually wanting to get with her or anything. I just wanna see if persistence can help me get a day 2. Hit it up with suggestions/comments/etc...
