Here we go at last! I've been so excited to write about this interview and it's definitely been well worth the wait!

I met up with Johnny in a Starbucks on a Sunday afternoon. This was only the second time I'd come face-to-face with such a substantial figure within the community, so I was somewhat nervous at the start, as well as being a little intimidated by the fact that he himself was quite sizable and could easily break me in half with one hand, I reckoned. Then he smiled and greeted me with genuine warmth that is rare even from people I've
known for years and again I could only see him as an incredibly friendly and well meaning person.

You may wonder why this is relevant or important to you and why you should care, but I'll tell you why. I didn't realise it at the time, but after watching the Seductive Reasoning 101 videos http://www.worthyplayboys.com/philosoph ... oning.html (I’ll tell you more about them later, but do yourself a favour and start downloading them NOW!) I understand where a large quantity of Johnny's allure comes from. Just being around Johnny makes me feel happy, respected, equal and able to say whatever is on my mind without fear of being ridiculed. This feeling is something he has cultured and utilizes to attract women for sexual endeavours and incredible friends all around the world of both sexes – I instantly wanted to be his friend myself. He makes everyone around him feel welcome and at ease without any posturing or Alpha bullshit and it works a hell of a lot better than trying to force people to see him as the leader, because everyone loves and respects him so much.

We ended up not getting much time to do the interview that day and so I ended up meeting him at his apartment a few weeks later. On that first day I'd already met one of his female friends, as well as his primary girlfriend Violet and that night at his place I met 2 of his male friends and then Violet again. Like I said, I got a definite feeling that everyone that knows him completely loves him and not because of what he can do for them (what they can get from him), but because he is a very openly loving and caring person that makes them happy just by being around. As Johnny talks about in Seductive Reasoning 101 – happiness is THE most addictive thing on the planet, even more so than heroine and I can back that up with my own knowledge of pharmaceuticals, body chemistry and the power of endorphins which are the result of happiness.

We did manage to get down to the long anticipated interview and afterwards I left the feeling high as a kite from all the perception altering information that Johnny masterfully helped put into my brain!

---------------------

If you were going to recommend one book/dvd/etc for guys to check out (aside from your own), what would it be?

I'm a huge advocate of philosophical works in the guise of 'speculative fiction' - "Sci Fi" stories set only slightly ahead of the present, in which the author may present otherwise contentious or challenging issues without being condemned by the public-at-large.

For 'Community' guys, and for most people in general, I strongly recommend Stranger in a Strange Land and Time Enough for Love by Robert Heinlein, as well as Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. There are many others by each of there authors which I'd also recommend, but these ones are particularly powerful and reframing.

What was the greatest thing you had to overcome in your development?

"My biggest obstacle has always been that my frame consistently appears so unrealistic that most people cannot process that it is true. The invention of the digital camera was probably the single greatest thing for overcoming this because previously it was far, far too cumbersome to convince people that the things I described were simple and real."

I can attest to this fact. Even given my experiences in life and the fact that I can reserve judgment pretty well, as well as knowing that Johnny is considered better with women than any of the guys on Cliff's List, BY the people on the list, I still find many things he tells me hard to believe...until I'd seen the videos or photos.

What is the worst thing a guy that is new to the community can do/believe?

"The worst thing he can do is truly believe that there is a battle between men and women; and that he has to win it."

Do you believe in love?

"I experience it constantly! I'm a very very loving guy. I am, however, not "romantic" as I believe that romance is a form of self-deception, and I feel self-deception is the root of all evil. The very meaning of "romance" is 'fantasy' - it describes a way of internalizing something as profoundly more significant than it actually is."

An interesting view and I'd love to hear more about his stance on this, as this was a rushed question from the end of our first meeting and I forgot to bring it up on our second.

I personally love romance and it makes me feel all manly and such, but perhaps that is what he means. I find the thrill of doing something ”romantic" is usually the anticipation of the girl's reaction and the feeling of gratification when she enjoys the gesture. I love buying a girl flowers or chocolates and doing other stereotypical romantic things and I find enjoyment out of them. Perhaps this is only because I have associated those things with what it means to be a man because of society and that is the deception he speaks of?

Do you believe that a man can be just as, if not more manly, if he isn't going out with the intention of getting numbers, make-outs and lays all the time, instead just going out to have fun?

"I never go out to pick up women. I only go out to have a good time, enjoying myself. People that go out with the intention of having fun and enjoying themselves virtually always do just that, and very frequently manage to pick up girls in the process!

People that go out with the goal of 'picking up girls' usually don't have a good time, don't enjoy themselves, and rarely actually pick up girls!

Never forget, people who enjoy THEMSELVES, and are actively having a good time are highly attractive!"

Couldn't agree more! You may notice that I NEVER write field reports and this is exactly why. I NEVER go out with the intention of only picking up women. As a result, I have a ton of fun whenever I go out and often have amazingly fun and beautiful women to hang out with as a result. I was having so much fun last week that without doing a single thing, I attracted the most incredibly beautiful girl and amazing singer on top of that.

What is your greatest fear about new guys who enter the community?

"That they will decide to become PUAs -- and they'll just end up becoming PUTZs
(Pick Up Technique Zealots).

I am actively working to counteract the glamorization of 'Pick Up Artists', because to me, a 'Pick Up Artist' is a merely a 'con artist' in the sexual-predators' domain.”

Indeed. Can the canned stuff and learn how to just be the best you that you can be. Worked for Johnny and he’s arguably one of THE most successful men with women in the world!

What would you like to see the community evolve into in 5-10 years?

"I would like it to be unnecessary and superfluous. I would like the world of men to awaken to accept that there is fundamentally and simply no battle of the sexes."

Is it just me, or is that pretty much exactly what Sean Messenger said in the interview I did with him in September? Sounds like 2 of our featured posters are in agreement and that we've gotta stop thinking that it's guys vs. girls. We're all in it together people! Everyone wants love, sex and amazing relationships, so let's just get there together!

So many people get fed up with the community and end up leaving. Do you ever wish there was some other place/way you could convey your values and beliefs to men, but without the same negative connotations and mentalities that many people associate with the pickup community?

"I've based my entire career path now on helping people obtain either 'Worthy Playboyhood' if that is what suits their personality type, or AT LEAST recovering pickup artist status."

We talked about a project that I'm currently working on (some of you may have already heard about it) and after reading through Johnny's site www.worthyplayboys.com I'm pretty sure that we're on exactly the same page. Johnny's been helping guys achieve this for a while now and I'm finally putting together a place for guys AND girls who share this mentality, or want to achieve it, to come together en masse. Things are still in the works, so that's all the details you get for now, but hopefully by the end of the year something more concrete will be happening and people will be able to participate!

What is your highest ideal/value/belief in life, that you make sure you always hold true to?

"I never do anything I wouldn't do. I'm never embarrassed because I never do anything I wouldn't do."

Johnny goes into much greater detail about this in his interview with David DeAngelo and it's an incredibly admirable and powerful value to have. I only have the un-edited version of Johnny's interview with DYD, but I really hope it's there in the edited version to, cause everyone needs to understand and adopt this value!

What one thing do you think would benefit newbies and veterans alike?

"Honestly... Download and watch my Intro to Seduction 101 aka Seductive Reasoning 101. It is a 6 hour FREE video seminar. I think it will change your life. I stick about 30 hours of info into your head in about 6 hours using some interesting trance techniques. Watch it once, live for a week, then watch it again with a pen and paper and take notes. The first time you watch it you will feel drunk There's so much in it that you won't get the first time."

I can attest to this. I couldn't watch more than 2 hours at a time because I started to feel overloaded and the room started to do funny things. It is really powerful stuff that has truly changed the way I view the world and the ways in which I’m able to interact with men and especially women! I agree that you should all watch it, as well as share it with everyone you know and think can handle it. I mean, It’s a completely FREE seminar (2 of the actually) from one of the most respected and admired men within the community; usually you have to pay a lot of money for that sort of thing and it still doesn’t have the same kind of dramatic impact that this will have on you immediately. You don’t have to wait weeks, or practice material in the mirror, you get INSTANT benefits. I would say more, but honestly the material speaks more for itself more than I possibly can. Here's the link: http://www.worthyplayboys.com/philosoph ... oning.html

Hope you guys all enjoyed the interview, I know I did! Now let's all pick Johnny's brain and see what more we can get out of him before I get around to interviewing someone else. Right now unless someone of higher standing comes along, I've got my sights set on an amazingly intelligent instructor by the name of Tung. He lives right here in Toronto and he just happens to be friends with both Johnny and Sean Messenger!

The best thing about the videos is that it never seems like a chore watching them. It's very interesting.

Bump in honour of Johnny's 8th annual Vegas Lifestyle Successfulness workshop. I've been trying to make it out here for over six years (ever since I got the opportunity to do this interview with him) but I finally made it! There's an amazing group of people here and we're all excited to learn some amazing things and kick out skills and lifestyle up to the next level!
