If your in a bar (won't work in a club - too noisy)

Clip a penny in the crotch of your thumb. Place the ring securely on your thumb, and say you will now make it jump onto your index finger from there. Shake your hand and let the penny fly out of your hand, it sounds like you accidentally dropped the ring. At this point acting is required.

I honestly don't know if that would work in a closeup magic situation... im not confident that an hb wouldnt see the ring on your other finger... also, theres really no possible kino involved in your version because an hb's ring is not going to fit on your finger


Also... adding some kino to the original trick....
When you go to give the ring back... keep your palm open and facing upwards... when she goes to take the ring back, quickly close your hand and turn your hand over
she'll try to pry your hand open, so grab the finger that she was wearing the ring on and put the ring on for her

I did a shitty job in that vid but yeah, it does work. Girls rings are smaller and fit snugly over the end of your finger so they're perfect to use. I see what you mean about the kino thing though, but when you're a naturally touchy person you don't really need to incorporate kino into your tricks. I'm better with cards anyway.
