Anyway, I tried this "hand hug" thing last week and surprisingly, it worked fucking wonders.

I find the best way to do this is to say, "Check this shit out", go for the high-five, then as her hand presses against yours, explain to her what you're doing and what it's called. The main reaction I got is, "That is so cool!". It's sad as fuck but for some reason it fucking works!

Let me know what you think of these suggestions:
If you say hi and handhug to open like somebody suggested, explain to the girls that this way you don't have to touch people you're not sure you like yet, or you're not sure are clean. Then later on, you can ask them to do something for you and then maybe you'll give them a real hug.

Or, if you already opened for a while and do the high-5 approach, you can try the 2-part hug approach, or say something like, I usually do the handhug with girls who I think are insecure with their bodies...or with girls that only want me for my body.
