I would say somehow lead into an interesting but true story of something that happened to you at a wrestling competition or if you are in a band a concert, then try to incorporate things that lead her into questions about those things so you can "show off" without seeming like you are showing off. Essentially, stacking stories.
There are also a number of good dhv routines like the cube, strawberry fields, and a few others.

I don't know if this is really a straight up DHV but last night I was working on making social proof known to everyone in the room. I went to a DJ set that my buddy was doing and I was with two girls, both of whom had serious boyfriends. When I got there I grabbed both of them and said, "We're going on stage." We get up there and we're dancing or whatever, but now when I step back onto the floor people recognize me as the guy who was on stage with two hb's with him. Instant social proof and demonstrates your value. It was especially valuable in this environment where it was too loud to really game girls anyway.

yeah, instant social proof and preselection.
you could also DHV even more by holding your hand out to them to help them get on and off the stage if it's the platform type without stairs etc.

just another idea i'm throwing out seeing as you mentioned the 2 girls had BF's... you could definately use them as pivots in a jealousy plot. tell the girls to come to you while you're in a set and to start flirting with you a bit. girls love helping guys hook up
