Yes, I realize this is barely worthy of its own thread but what should I ask for at a hair salon to get hair kinda like sawyer from lost or juggler.

I would say that or take pics but I can't find any decent ones, so Im thinking of asking for a mid length choppy layered thing. Anyone know how to put this in a way that might actually get me the hair cut I want? Cheers :)

I googled some images, and it looks like you've got the description right. If the stylist mentions anything about feathering or texturing say no. You'll want it layered just at the end. If you don't say that they'll layer all of your hair, leaving you with something completely different.

ALWAYS BE SPECIFIC with hairstylists and don't be afraid to comment and ask questions on work in progress.

Cheers, I got it done in the end by some crappy looking male barbers (not my choice). Luckily for me the guy was awesome, knew exactly what I meant and managed to do the haircut cheap and fast (I hate sitting still for too long).

I'll have to post some pictures soon.
