hey guys,
this is my first post ever, and it comes as a field report : ) i go to the university of wisconsin and i was walking on the main street in madison, wi (state street). i saw a cute 3 set walking towards me. i opened with a grin: "heyyyy losers, i have to go really quickly, you can't get offended by this because i got yelled at once for using this term. but you guys seem like coasties (people from the east coast, as they are known at UW). my question to you is where are you guys from." blah blah blah, they answer.
i continue this conversation, negging the alpha female of the group because she was trying to run the set. they tried to put up a hoop for me to prove that i was from new jersey (they are from new york and new jersey). i tell them that they have to prove to me their identities first by showing me their licenses. after, i continue to cut threads and keep the conversation moving. then, one of the girls says: "let's go up to our room." i reply with "not so fast gabby, i just met you remember?" we eventually go into their room (i say that i need to check out their dorm rooms because they are in an upscale dorm building). after about five minutes upstairs keeping the conversation interesting, i get one of their numbers. we kind of make plans to hang out later and i find out that my target (the alpha female) has a "bf." i tell them to stop talking because i don't want to hear this and i walk out, telling them i'll see them eventually.
my question to the pua community is: should i call them first tonight (the night of meeting), or should i wait until tomorrow and keep them in suspense? they definitely enjoyed meeting me, but i don't want to seem to needy also. please help
