Think of why we use negs. Realise that girls do this stuff naturally and we are copying this behaviour. Now, think why girls use negs.

Please be more specific. What was the context of the conversation and what exactly did she say? Women are naturally more intuitive when it comes to dating then us males are. They use techniques such as negs with no knowledge of what they are actually doing.

If the neg is a textbook mystery style neg, then the girl is doing early broad qualification tests on you and the best way to respond is 'playfully' not take the neg and perhaps send her back one of course in a playful manner.

If she negs you you neg her back. A neg from her is a shit test or a tease.

No need to get like that. I dunno how many girls you hang around with, but I've been 'negged' on certain things by a few girls in my social circle aswell as random ones I've met. It's playful teasing, and whereas they're not necessarily doing this to disqualify themselves, they do it and it makes guys attracted a little more to them. Just because Mystery gave this kind of teasing a new name doesn't mean he invented it. A lot of the stuff he teaches, I have seen girls do. It's reverse engineering. Tell anyone else with my experience that girls don't do this stuff naturally and they'll laugh at you, just FYI.
In other words, she's testing to see if you like her. If you qualify, she knows, and you're making shit easy for her. Your point about responding playfully and not qualifying is definately right.

When a girl negs at you, it's to see how well you respond to it by being playful or by taking it seriously like an ass who has issues to deal with.

I like it when people neg you, it tests your ability to come up with something better to say right back at them. It's a way to test you whether you're on top of the game or if she's the one playing you with negs. It's to see whether you're in control of yourself or if you let other people control your frame in the conversation.

Because she wants a man to lead, not lead by her. And a way to know that is by negging you and you have to make a good comeback.
