So I volunteer at the hospital for a class I am in. I was playing guitar in the atrium when I notice 2 women in their 30's walk in looking breathtakingly hot. These women would have been 10's when they were in their 20's for sure (11's maybe, Jesus Christ).
Anyway I'm sitting there playing and the brunette (the other was blonde) sits down with a cub of coffee and gives me a look. This look my friends is like the smirk that "Kitty Cat" has on her face for half of "Wedding Crashers". I just smiled back, thats all I could do.
What could I have done to open it up? It would have required me to walk directly over about thirty feet. It should also be noted that they were in and out in about 5 minutes.
Now before anyone calls me a pansy, I have never gamed a milf before, so lets be constructive.

As a beginner, I sometimes find getting a big IOI can be almost paralysing!
I guess all you can do is to act on it as soon as you think you should. Easier said than done I know...

First of all, you indicated that you have a talent, even if you can only strum a few notes. You can play guitar, if she sat down, it can't have been too hard on the ears!

My suggestion would have been to say something along the lines of, "Hey, just let me finish this song and i'll come sign autographs." or maybe, "Hey, this gig isn't free, i'm gonna' have to call security." Or even, "Hey, what's your singing voice like? I need some accompanyment."

I wasn't worried about the playing at all really. I kept it going. I'm a music major, so I'm as confident with the guitar as I need to be with gaming women.
They were 30ft away. Think of those big hospital atriums. I would have been shouting. Should I just take this as a "Get 'em next time, there's no good answer" kind of situation?

Thanks for the input, and at least I know I can build attraction without speaking, but I think there wasn't really an opportunity. I would have said something like that if they were closer

Where u playing guitar privately in a corner, or was it like a mini show, w/ people watching you?
If it was a 'show'...
If u put a tail on the song and ended, then waved to the people watchin you, would they have clapped, if even alittle?
If so, i cant picture anything more money then setting down the guitar, and walkin right up w/ direct opener.

If u were playin privately w/ no one really paying any mind, that could be abit trickier.

Either way if you felt the iois comin off strong, id think direct opening may be the way to go. Plus older women seem to not play games as much as the young-ins, so direct might play well on that angle as well.

But as a fellow guitar picker id like to know what others feel about this situation too.
