Hey guys,

I have a quick question about how to start a facebook conversation with a 7 that i often see at my dining hall (in college) but i just had a talk with last night at a party. Most of our conversation focused on how packed the dance floor was and how her feet kept getting stepped on since she was wearing flip flops. Unfortunately it was incredibly loud and I had to bounce so we kept it at that. There were some pretty noticeable IOIs though - she completely stopped dancing with her friend and started talking to me, eyes seemingly glued to me, etc.

Since I'll be probably seeing her at least once a day in the dining halls, I wanted to take it slow and build some comfort first. I'm thinking of sending her a facebook message somewhere in the lines of:

Flip flops on a packed dance floor...I'm guessing you're either very brave or a bit foolish. Which one is it?

Is this a good example of a neg? Anyone else have any other suggestion?

I have to admit that I'm relatively new to the pickup game so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say that youd want to say something that didnt revolve around the only things you talked about the previous night. Hint at it or touch it but go somewhere else with it.
Personally I love useing lil emoticons with women, gives the message some personality and also give her a nic name after negging her on how she cant dance or something.

I had a problem with a flake on facebook and Chino Kapone gave me advice, so maby luck will shine and he can help you out more then myself.

don't facebook message at all. if you said you'll see her at least once a day then walk up to her in person and deliver that line.

she'll like it so much better. and you'll be glad you did it too. don't kid yourself with "taking it slow".... afterall you're only talking to her in person. it's not like you're trying to make out with her when you walk up to her.
