Way i see it, it's like how a circus comes into town every year and we pay for the show. then one day, the black curtain comes down and we see the tricks.

Agreed. It was an amazing story to begin with so why completely revamp it?

Also, I think everyone is over-reacting about this "competition" PUAs have been seen on Dr. Phil, and even have Mystery's "Th Pick Up Artist" This stuff is out in the open, to call the community a secret society wouldn't be true. Women are actually more open to this stuff than some people think.

Firstly, the movie is going to be horrible.. I sincerely wouldn't doubt it if it went straight to DVD. Seriously.

Secondly, MM isn't going anywhere... its not the canned material that makes MM work.. its the concepts behind the materials... Ok, so now you won't be able to go up to a woman and say "I need your female opinion"... if you honestly don't think you will be able to open sets without that, then you probably weren't going to make it very far anyway.

Lastly, there are guys, naturals, who behave in ways very similar to the way MM teaches. Girls are not going to all of the sudden start calling out dudes left and right for being a 'pick up artist'.. its just absurd..

at best, you might have to be a little bit ORIGINAL with your material.. we will be fine guys.

p.s. Yes there was a porn star in the trailer, Jesse Jane, thought that was hilarious.

Gambler knows his shit, I will never deny that, but to say that MM is outdated is pretty bold my friend. It is getting harder to pull off the canned material he provides, but his strategies, his theories on one-on-one and group interaction and dynamics are pretty age-less, I mean its psychology. You can research his shit, its legit. Now I'm not trying to be an MM proponent or anything, I think you should take in stuff from everywhere, incorporate a little bit of everything, but I don't think MM is going anywhere for a long time.

Couldn't care less. I hardly remember any canned lines...hardly ever use them and they just aren't congruent with my personality so i don't give a toss.
