I really don't know...

I'm not a fan of openers which emply giving her money in exchange of her being nice.. I just think she'll smile and all that and welcome the negs because of the money because, let's face it, she's working, she's there to make money isn't she?

This IS field tested and it DOES work depending on how you open it up to the waitress..
