I'm trying to create a profile on a dating site such as match.com. I'm attractive but I'm not photogenic (I tested a few of my pictures on hotornot and didn't do so well). I read in an interview that Style did about online dating. He suggested to not even post of photo of yourself but rather something like a sketch or drawing. Not adding a photo, wouldn't make it through the search filter to display only profiles with photos. The key to this of course is that the opening statement about yourself must be so over the top, that the woman reading it becomes intriqued. I've seen Style's profile and as cocky as it way, he managed to make it work for him.


Has anyone had success w/ creating a profile w/o a photo?

How did you do on HoN?

There's really only one way to pull it off without a picture. I don't think a sketch will do it.

Picture this:

You have a vagina. You're browsing through online personals. Boring. Boring. Dick. AFC. AFC. AFC. Boring. Then a picture grabs your attention. Instantly you are drawn to it like a retard to a shiny coin.

Why? It pulls at you emotionally. Remember- you have a vagina.

What is it?

A picture of a puppy.

If possible I would use a picture of me with a few girls around me. If thats not possible try having one of you playing a team sport or at least doing something social where you can tell you are having fun... Some sites won't allow you to have pictures with other people as your profile picture though. I don't really think having a picture of of a sketch or drawing is the way to go unless you are the artist. You better have a pretty UNIQUE profile if that is the case. Personally when I see a girl's profile with a dog as her picture, its usually because she herself is a dog lol... I think a picture of you with a kid (neice nephew whatever) would work better rather than making it look like you have something to hide... but thats just my opinion.

If you're not photogenic, pay a profesional photographer to make
you look good, as you'll get less replies without a photo.

The only problem is that girls may think the picture is fake if it looks like a pro took the picture. You be better off with a friend taking a picture when it is really sunny out. Ya you may not look the best, but at least girls won't think it is a fake.
