I had this event last night. My goal was four numbers. I wasn't really sure what to do exactly. I've almost finished reading the game and just figured I'd roll the dice and try some basics

#1: About a seven. Kinda cute. I really have no idea how the conversation started, but she was definately into me (pupils WAY dilated). I tried out a couple of subtle negs. when she was talking about her goals etc. ya know, gonna change the world kind of stuff I said "yeah, you remind me of myselft when I got out of college." I even asked her one word to describe herself. that stumped her and put her on her heels. after about 15 minutes, longer than expected, I said "listen, i've got to get back, but you seem like a nice girl, give me your number and we can finish this another time". she responded "i'd like that". i was like damn!!! didn't say that of course, but damn!

#2: Cute little girl not afraid to show cleavage. I give her a 8. I sidled up next to her and started shooting the shit over my shoulder. there were others in the group and I wanted to isolate so i said, can you come here? acting like it was more than for just conversation, but it worked. She's only here for another five months. small talk, blah blah. then i said, you're a cute girl, but let me ask you "are you worth getting to know if it's only for five months." Got her number but let the set go too long and she left me to get back to other activities.

#3: Absolute 10! Tall, very attractive. I didn't go the direct route. Her younger sister was there, and was buttering her up, not the older. It was all in good taste, sincere, and endearing to the target. we crossed paths a couple times, sometimes i said hello other times ignored her. when the evening was wrapping up and so was the coversation i reached out my hand said "pleasure" and walked away. she was like "oh, ok". later in the evening there was another woman i was talking to. the target was standing behind her. i made some remark that and knew the target may think i was referring to her when actually it was the other. subtle neg. didn't acknowldge the target. later i asked her what she was up to that night. i said we should meet up and she said they were going out aways away from where i was and was like "no, where not going up there" kind of dismissingly. at the end of the night I more formally said goodbye and she threw me a warm smile.

Now my only problem is one-itis! after my first night!!

Oh yeah, there was #4 too but that's for future positioning.

What I've learned:
There's hope.
Everyone plays games consciously or subconsiously and no one want to or can admit it.
Sincerity may work after all.
