It happened a couple weeks ago but I just decided to post it on here so it's going to be pretty rough when it comes to details but here we go!
I had just got on a train it would be a twenty minute trip and I would be getting off a the second stop. Moving along the carridge I found an open seat across from a pretty girl but it was beside an old man. For the first ten minutes of the journey I had very little to say mostly from approach anxiety and cuz it seemed kinda weird with the old guy sitting beside me for some reason. I decided that if the guy got off at the next stop I had to talk to her (again...I don't really understand my reasoning for this!). Luckily the guy did leave so after another two minutes of convincing myself I finally commented on the fact that everyone "quietly ignores" one another while on the train and how I was going to try and break that trend one person at a time. I'm afraid I can't remember what I said to her after that (sorry) but I do remember the conversation stopping after running out of things to say, after commenting on this she restarted the conversation, this may have happend twice and as far as I know that is an IOI. She lived nowher me (in England, I'm in Scotland) so I never bothered atempting to get her number, but I was pretty pleased how well it went. Any comments on how I could do better?
