OK, long story short.. Went to a bar by myself tonight. Two girls came in -- not HB's but like one was a 6 and the other a 7.. Good enough. They sidled up next to me at the bar, opened me with some line about my dessert menu, we had some small talk and then they invited me to their table. I went to their table and spent about an hour and a half chatting with them, and then I went to the restroom. When I came back the 7 was by herself... (the 6 was at the bar getting some water) Mind you, I had been chatting with the 6 for most of the night. The 7 was visiting just in town 'till Wednesday.. This was a Saturday night.

So, I'm alone with the 7 and she says "So... You can walk to your place from here?" Like an idiot I answered her and said, "yeah it's just around the block..." Not realizing until after they both left that this was probably her asking me for an invitation back..

Why did I clam up? Worst thing could have happened I said to her, "Yeah.. Would you like to come over for a bit?" She would have said "no" that would have been the end of the subject. Better yet I could have smelled her -- told her she smelled nice, flirted with her -- then asked her to come over. Again, worst thing would have happened she would have said "no". Had she said yes, i would be getting laid right now instead of typing this post...!!!

What the hell is wrong with me?

aaahhhh, unlucky man. it happens to the best of us. some of us are stupid at the worst times right? haha

Unfortunately this is part of the learning process. Take this as a good sign that you have women willing to come over to your place and hang out rather easily. My guess is that she just surprised you with that. You know what to do next time.

I would say "Yeah, its right around the corner. Y'all should come over, I have some drinks there as well. "
