When someone you have known a little while e.g. someone you have been working with for a couple of weeks asks you this then what is the best answer.

I know if it was some random HB in a club and shes asked me this i would say i would answer along the lines of i'm too much for 1 girl to handle but it would be inappropriate at work to answer this way..

First and foremost, be honest. Being a PUA isn't about lying to a woman. So instead what you do is answer the question with a question. Something like Do you really need to ask me that? or Are YOU (stress you) single? The key is to make her qualify herself to you not you to her. It is the same way as in the field you just have to go about it a different way. Use open-ended questions when there is a question you really don't want to answer until you have some backend knowledge of the HB. Keep cool and collected, make her qualify herself to you and you will be golden.

Another quick note, if she persists with the question just roll off. Something like ok you're losing me or damn you are persistent and just turn to walk off. She will either stop you and qualify herself or you will walk off and she will be left there sad that you didn't answer her question. She will now think about that the next time you two speak. Punishing her for misbehaving is the fun part of the game. You get to witness them striving for the attention back.

And if you really want to get her, find another HB to talk to after you roll off. This will show to her that you have options and are somewhat preselected. You would then have a higher value.

This works the same way is she asks you why you are single. Open-ended questions will help you reel her in.

*EDIT*: also if she asks you if you are single and you give her the straight answer. Then when she asks you why you could neg her a bit with something like "Wow... you ask a lot of personal questions don't you. How about you tell me why you are single (or in a relationship, etc)." If she gets kind of wordy with her explanation or doesn't really want to answer it till you do then roll off like I stated above.

mystery: *leans slightly back, looks around the club* i see a lot of people *smiles*
HB: *laughs, slaps his arm* no seriously, are you seeing anyone?
mystery: *leans back even further, turning his body slightly toward her after leaning back, making eye contact* i see lots of people *still smiling*

i'll try to find the link. i found it interesting that he gave her a small IOD the first time and then and IOD followed by and IOI the second time.

thought this might be applicable in this thread... maybe someone could shed some light on it.
