First of all, do we have our own community-dance-style?

Haaa, no, seriously, I know that you can pick up w/o having to dance... but what if you want to get instant attention from others in the club?

I got like glow-sticks for peacocking, but since people notices me more.. I need to dance better, right? Don't want to make a fool of yourself out there.

I know there is this thing called Google, but I don't know what dances are Alpha, etc. Perhaps there is no such thing as an AFC-dance, but what do I know...

Question: Do you have any good tutorial on how to dance in clubs, and how does an Alpha dance?

Before I entered the world of PUAs, my main method for 'opening' so to speak was to pull a crowd with the moves. Ive been told it looks like a combination of michael jackson and break dancing. Stuff like that and the C walk, jump stlye seem to work. Tho now I just dance to have a good time, without looking for anyone.

Basically though pick a style and get good at it, it doesnt matter what style it is aslong as it appears that you have ability in that area. Youtube is your friend here.

So as long as I'm congruent with my style, and I really know it well... I can use anything?

Will utube/google.

Thanks TheAce :)!

iv been bboying (breakdancing) and popping for a few years before i got into game.. breaking takes a lot of time to get good at (and a lot of floor space =P) so i suggest just learn some basic popping elements like waving, strobing, hitting, botting and animation. theres plenty of popping tutorials on youtube which will teach u the basics.

you can get it good enough if u just practice in front of a mirror. if u wanna see some good popping clips theres heaps on youtube i recommend looking up these poppers:
[] J-Rock
[] J-Smooth (lol no not the PUA)
[] Skeeter Rabbit
[] Mr Wiggles
[] Electric Boogaloos

lol the only downside to using this in clubs (at least in sydney) is that every time i start rocking a circle i get called out by some shitty krumper.

There is no specific alpha dance, pick a style that fits you, watch some videos on youtube and practise in front of a mirror (or use your digital cam to record you). This way you know what looks cool and what doesn't.

My recommendation, dance just for fun. Don't even try to project that you are the best dancer around, be the alpha guy who doesn't care if he's not the best dancer, you are there to have some fun!

And then a few short tips:

-Dance to the beat (if you don't have any sense of rythm.. well.. maybe you should stick to areas where you have talent)

-Keep it simple! Don't try too flashy moves. You see a cool move, hey, its likely the guy doing that move has been dancing for years and you'll just look like a monkey trying it

-Recognize the genre. So.. you have this really cool dance move you master.. but hey, don't do the gangstah moves to Dj Tiesto and don't rave-jump with hiphop.

-Have fun! To most people dancing is about having fun.. so if you are having fun, you are already doing something right!

Happy sarging and dancing!

Take salsa classes. It develops movement coordination. You won't necessarily do salsa to rnb or house, but there's no questioning spins and dips kick ass.

I know what they said about dancing and women in "Hitch"....but to me, and my style of game, I just do whatever my mind tells me to do. I might be doing the robot one second, the worm the next. The key is to be having a smile on your face and your groups face. I have seen guys with serious skill try to impress girls on the dance floor and I just bust out with the worst robot and the girls loved it...

Be yourself and have fun....Know that you are having fun..keep that frame.

Just learn how to do some basic hip hop "bouncing". Its simple and looks fun (if you get it right). Crip walking is even easier, and looks pretty good too.

Here in the south (well in the Carolinas) especially in Myrtle Beach we have a dance called the Shag. Try learning a few shag steps you can always incorparate them in your dance style and because you hold hands some its good with kino works good because it has a little push pull interaction and is good for building eye contact and makes her more comfortable with you girls like southern gentleman and charm as well.

I love to dance, and honestly it helps me out with my PU. For instance once I get one women on the dance floor, the rest of the night... It's ON! Its like magic lol once I dance with one person then people will come and grab me as soon as I get back to my seat. Hell sometimes I can't even get to my seat lol. I love it so much most of the time if im not with one lady, I'll be with two one in front one in back. I even had a mom and daughter compete for me once. It's all about the rhythm if you can keep a beat and sync with the music your game. This is just something that has come to me naturally, thank god. Study other people that look good at what there doing, ....... I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH .......DON'T IMITATE ANOTHER GUY ON THE DANCE FLOOR ....

AFC's do this to me all the time, they will see me dancing the night away and they try to mimic me, but they look like retards in doing so. So like the other person said, practice what you see others doing, but do it in private at first.

Once your good at it, it works wonders. For instance, there was a 3Set early in the evening 2 girls 1 guy. I opened the guy ... blah blah blah and asked the target to dance, she said "No, I'm sorry I have a Boyfriend." and I said, "pleasure meeting you" and left. An hour or so later I started dancing with this other girl and what do you know.... just a few minutes into dancing.... My targets friend comes in and said, " Do you mind if I dance with my boyfriend?" I played along and once we were dancing she said, " My friend (target) wants to dance with you" Ended up getting a Kiss close.

Bottom line, stick to it. It will help in your game tremendously, well night game anyway.

~Danny

Watch 'Save the Last Dance'...its kind of like how the guy is teaching the girl. But dance floor game is different to normal game. Mystery goes you should avoid it.
