So I'm still getting through a breakup with my fiance, and only just a few days ago discovered the PUA world. So needless to say I'm a little rusty.

Alright, anyway... I'm a dog person. So one of the things I like to do is take my lab to the dog park. Its gets her energy out, and it keeps her social skills up so she doesnt start getting dog-agressive.

I was thinking about it the other day, and I realized that there are usually a few attractive girls there every time I go. So why the hell not? How can I spin the standard day game principles to meet this environment? Part of me is thinking that anything dog related (i.e. what breed is your dog), would be very easy openers. On the other hand, this might seem like such normal conversation I might slip into the friendly zone. Any ideas?

yes a dog opener is the obvious way to go, thats what any AFC would do, a MPUA must be the exception to the average chumps so use any kind of opinion opener

It doesn't matter if you start talking bout dogs, its all about your attitude, being interesting and being alpha. sounds pretty easy, but it takes a lot of practice to become good at it. simply start approaching the girls, don't think about the best approach ever or something like this. I guarantee you, if you do this for a while, you won't have any problems approaching all kind of girls. To avoid the best-friend-zone, use NEGs and try to be alpha - you're a the prize, not them (frame of mind: you already have a girlfriend and you don't care how cute the girl in front of you is). Yeah, the dog park is a good place. But what the dog is going to do for you is get rid of the AA (because you've got no choice but to approach/follow!) and make the girl a little more receptive to your opener. It's probably a safe idea to start out the conversation with something dog-related, but you should transition to something else fairly quickly so you can work a more normal game. Something along the lines of how the dog gives you exercise so you don't need to hit the gym as much, or how dogs really get the direct socializing thing better than people do could at least get you guys talking about something other than what dog food results in the least smelly poo...

Ok well I went to the dog park today. Only one potential target, but the dynamics of the dog park made her a tough approach. Let me explain.

This is a fenced in, no leash dog park. All you do is take your dog in, and let them run around and play. Owners usually just watch and sometimes help out with a game of fetch.

So here is the basic layout. Once you come in, there is a narrow fenced in walk into a big square. There are 4 benches along every side of the square. I made a huge mistake today. I came in, and there were no potential targets whatsoever. So I saw an empty bench over on the left. My dumb ass went all the way over there and sat, even most of the people were in the front right. I didnt think it was a big deal, because they were all older people and families. All of the sudden, a decent looking brunette, about 20-23 walks in. She lets her dog off the leash and migrates to a couple of 60 year old ladies. And at this point I cant just get up and walk clear over to the other side of the square as soon as the girl walks in.

From now on, I'm going to have to mingle with whatever people are there as soon as I get there. Even if when I get there they are old people. Oh well, you live you learn.

Funny thing about openers though. Today I heard one of those 60 year old ladies yell across to some middle aged couple, "Do you say pe-CAN or pe-CON?" I was like, damn thats pretty good!
