There isn't necessarily a great chance she'll say "no." Although, whether or not she'll COMMIT to seeing you(not flake on you), you can't be sure. You said you "kind of" know her: well, I "kind of" know the cute cash register at the bank I always go to...doesn't mean if I ask her out she'll be comfortable enough with me to go.
Try training yourself to recognize the IOI's(body language, eye contact, is she playful with you, does she laugh at your jokes, react well to your touch, etc.), then act on them. REWARD her for showing interest in YOU by asking HER out.
