This a problem I seem to have. I live in a shitty town full of low class garbage. Most the people my age are all ghetto and drug dealers. I'm not, I have a sense of style and am a college student, I have long hair, and because of PUA, have taken my looks seriously. I am, the EXACT opposite of the norm around town. People In neighboring towns consider me the "social elite," of this little hole. The standard here is a fade, XXXXXXLLLLL shirts, and pants that there is really no point in wearing, because they don't qualify as clothing. If you're pants are at your ankles, you don't need to wear them . Besides the point, most people don't wear shirts either. Oh, and I'm not homophobic. Being comfortable with your sexuality seems to be a big offense here.

What are some "anti-gay vibe" tactics?

Also I have a theory: Guys started this rumor that I'm gay, because I get more and hotter girls than they do. Rolling around town with a different girl each week. Most of them have a kid (or 5), with a dirt-nasty girlfriend. Could it be any jelousy ?

Yeah, that's just jealousy man. You just have to make them not hate you and that should fix it. Make out with some chicks in front of them randomly perhaps.

Yes, it could be jealousy. Honestly you just have to be happy with yourself and if someone calls you gay just laugh it off. If you don't let it bother you then you will stop being teased. Also if girls think you might be gay then it is a false disqualifier and you can get into sets easier. People sometimes think I'm gay too and I just joke around with them.

yeah dude, its most probably just jealousy, though i've noticed that guys who dress well in an area where others look like shit get labeled gay purely because they look better... so keep that in mind.

if a girl asks if you're gay, smile and move on to the next thread. this is a non issue. it doesnt even deserve a word. if you kiss her or she says something like "i thought you were gay", again, just smile and move on to the next thread. only say "im not gay" if she's persistent with this gay thing.

If you're still getting women, then I'd just laugh it off and use it to your advantage like the guys are suggesting above. However, sometimes style is wasted on those not sophisticated enough to recognize it. Have you thought about heading into the nearest city or somewhere that your style would be more easily received? I had a buddy living in a run-down part of Massachussetts, and he didn't even waste his time hitting the local places for pretty much the exact same reason you've described, so he just drove the extra hour into Boston. It was a pain in the ass, but the women he'd meet could appreciate his style, and that made it worth it...

Best advice i've heard. I try not to let it get to me, but recently it has gotten really bad. I tried watching the first season of The Pickup Artist, that blonde guy had the same problem.

Anyway thanks for the advice guys. It helps knowing that I actually have pulled more girls in one week, than many of these dudes have in their lives. The advice really has been helpful.
