I met this cute girl in acting class the other day. She seemed to show some IOI like touching me a lot and squeezing back when I squeezed her hand. I made her laugh a few times and even threw a few negs in which she laughed and play hit me.

when class was over she smiled and said goodbye. I just dropped out of this acting class but I still would like to see her again.

I was wondering what could be done to see her again and maybe ask her to hang out. I was thinking about dropping by the school and having the teacher hand her a note when he sees her next week.

the note I had in mind was

"hey I had to drop the class so I wont see you there anymore but wanted to say you seem like a really cool girl and if you would like to meet up for coffee or see a claire daines movie ( inside joke between me and her) here is my cell"

thats the only thing I can think of other than straight stalking her out.

is this a good idea or what other things can I do to see this girl again?

i dont like the idea of getting the teacher to hand her a note... it just sounds very lame and afc to me. plus, she'll be afraid of looking desperate if she calls you.
why dont you drop by class "because you had to do something" and then run into her "by accident". this way you control what happens. then you can chat a bit, build a bit more attraction etc and #close. i like the inside joke idea. i'd probably use that for the #close.

"hey good to see you again, I was wondering do know any good places to get sushi some friends are coming into town and I wanna take them out then we're heading to a really great party" then when she says she does or doesn't mention that she should come unless she's too busy watching claire daines movies then ask for her number so I can text her the details later

yeah, that sounds fine if you have enough comfort.
she isnt going to go to get sushi with you and some friends or go to a party with you guys if she doesnt feel comfortable enough yet, so just make sure you have enough comfort.
you can maybe run into her after class and quickly bounce for a quick coffee or something and then bring up the sushi and party thing while you're having coffee. the coffee is like an instant date, so it'll jumpstart comfort if you havent gotten there yet.
