Have a girl that works an exotic dancing establishment and is a fucking 11. We have been conversing over the phone for the last week and due to busy schedules we have not gone out yet. Over so many phone calls is where I'm getting hiccups, on a recent call she vented and told me a bunch of bullshit about her 'buddy' at work she hooked up with and how she is so sad about losing their friendship. After getting txts from him that she was dead to him she was really upset. The guy totally rejected her and she is obviously attached. How do I push this guy out? I do believe she is earnestly interested in me yet I need some advice getting this guy out of the way. I don't play 2nd best and the only reason I'm sticking this one out is because she's exceptional. Advice on damage control, negs, punishment, etc would be awesome.

Dont make the same mistakes I made, dont be her vent/rant buddy else you will fall into the "dun dun dun" friend zone, instead take her on a picnic, or bowling, or something to get her mind off of this other guy, not only will she feel better and you will spend time together, but it will effectively knock the afc out of her mind for good, all you have to do is find an open slot, but if she keeps flaking or saying shes busy that may not be a good sign either

What id do is stop talking to her on the phone and like was what said above try and take her out to do something fun, and if that wont work make up some story about how your getting played by some HB and its killing you.

When you said "rant/rave buddy" the first thing I thought of was a "problem solver" its bad so "solve" their problems when talking to them, it will make you a rant buddy, BUT do acknowlege their problem, "ahh that sucks" etc, to show interest and common courtesy, then you can steer the convo wherever.
