The Ice Queens were very sexual creatures that latched onto me, because, in no small part I believe because I activated the "Mysterious" switch in this way. They even complain about the fact I reveal so little, but then turn around and continue to seek interaction with me.

an easy way to avoid answering her is to reply with a random answer and then jump to something else. i've found it's fairly important to make your answer fairly random... this way you're guaranteed that she'll laugh and it will take her mind off of her original question, allowing you to jump swiftly to the next thread. also, you're now steering the conversation and you're not trying to qualify yourself, which shows alpha characteristics.

her: so tell me a bit about yourself?
pua: i race hamsters in go-carts, knit jerseys for crocodiles and build space ships for a secret alien colony in canada.
her: oohhh.. hamsters are so cute

While i agree this is very effective, there is always the problem that you wont ever connect. Now dont get me wrong, that can work. However, gaining rapport will be alot harder and you will likly get buyers remorse.

The reasons this works so well is because essentially you are NOT qualifying yourself to her. She is used to all these AFCs telling her how they are so amazing etc etc, when you dont, she starts to want to know.... when u dont tell her she becomes curious. It goes on and on.

What i normally do is allow little bits of things slip through. This gives them the general picture, but i dont let much more on.
