or you could have just agreed to being and asshole. That's what I usually do. I tell girls I'm an asshole from the very beginning. It's like a get out of jail free card. I can be a total dick and they just think oh that's just the way he acts, and not only that they are constantly looking for reasons that I'm a nice guy. I really am a nice guy I just like to tease alot, so I tell them that I'm an asshole, but deep down I have a heart of niceness.
As far as your question goes just keep it playful and flirty or if you want change it serious, how to do that could be something like this.
