i was wondering if you guys can help me show more value.i am fine with opening sets in clubs and pubs but then i sometimes go blank. i need some good ways to show that i have a higher value than the next guy. i am currently trying to learn some magic tricks and have tried using the cube routine a couple of times but i want more want more ammunition and new material. any hints or routines that i could look up would be helpfull.

...if you were a girl, and a guy showed you a magic trick would you think wow! this guy is so much better then everyone else...i dont think it would....but if you showed a girl a magic trick when first meeting she may find you a bit weird for bringing up the idea......i believe it kind of contradicts the whole your trying to act alpha

keep learning them though there fun, and when your hanging with a girl on hang out they keep a fun conversation into the SPAM, at that point in time cause you have already made her build comfort for you remember she is on the date she is attracted to you, so magic tricks then a few that is are fun....

but what really shows alpha male is just a good conversation,and not acting like a needy bitch.....

so id say the cube in a conversation is good cause it makes the conversation fun and i say that teasing and good conversatoin is good enough with a little routine such as the cube


but i dont believe in displaying higher value so i have a bias i must admit, i believe in guys who act alpha and guys who are pussys......guys who do what they want, and talk bout what they want and then there are guys who follow the girls order, and only talk about things that he finds arent going to offened her or in other words are playing the convesation safe.

what i do when i talk to girls is just talk, tease and have fun with it...i dont look for certain oppurtuties to show DHV i do that myself by setting a time restraint syaing hey im only gonna take a min and picky on her within the conversatoin probaly sometign most guys dont do.....

basically higher value is just showing girls your not a needy guy is all...but i think sometiems guy mistake this as well if i show her higher value she will all of a sudden like me.....hardly the case.....higher value like i said before only shows your a not the average guy who is needy....

so how do you not act needing well, good conversation, c&f, be fun, playful someone who they would love to be around....

but like i siad stick with em they make conversatoin fun when your hanging with a target...and hell sometimes when conversation go's blank whip it out as a last resort kind of thing it may just work on occasion.....

but when opening id stick with teasing fun conversation..... put a tiem restraint on it to show your not clingy, needy, desperate and that your time is valuable.......

the cube is good, i say search for other routines that can carry a good interesitng conversation for you

when you come up to a 4 set and start saying something uninstered in a funny but not pretentious way you're entertaining them

just imagine mystery coming to the set and asking why is everybody wearing fucking white, then moving up with some lightheaded funny conversation

the key about this charisma is that he is entertaining them... this is key
the unpretentious entertainment is teasing already
(no wonder mystery IS an entertainer before being PUA, magician)

magic tricks are totally DHV for sure, not because you're bragging or anything, it is because people will fucking be interested in you, theyll stare at your trick for the duration of it and then youll provoke an awesome reaction in them, you're explicitly raising their interest over you, thus making you higher value... how can this not be demonstration of higher value?

to me, being alpha is not fucking being like the asshole popular sports guy(people always lose this point)

I see where your coming from however i think your wrong about the magic tricks not DHV, Mystery himself said that magic tricks are a great way to build rapport and DHV. Im not sure if you have ever been in the presense of a magician, but i know that whenever i see someone doing good magic tricks i find myself raising them higher and higher on a pedastool. Remember how Style said "things that were funny when we were 5 are still funny now" its the same with things like magic.

I believe you just gave an example of an entraining start to a conversation which i said is a good way to display alpha...an entertaining conversation and an alpha is that.......i never said don’t go up and start conversation i encouraged it....

and now what I believe DHV is showing you’re an alpha male confident, cocky, good aura and everything else that’s comes with it…I just believe magic tricks does a poor job of displaying you’re a dominant male…

but I have people for my opinion saying I’m right and I have people against me like you saying I’m wrong………I guess everything and anything is debatable …..

i only recommended to this kid don’t do magic tricks is cause if you look at his rating he is new to the game and just starting out in magic tricks he said, so to say go for it and have him try a new magic trick on the first set he opens which he is also new to approaching and opening well that could have a bad consequence id rather see him, get use to opening sets, and getting comfortable with stating conversation before he moves into magic tricks with his approach…..I’m sure he will find it a little difficult enough just trying to open and carry a conversation like most of us did

but if he beliefs DHV is strong through magic tricks sure just when you get comfortable with approaching have at it..

I just have a bias thinking conversation and being confident, cocky/funny is going to work far better to show your alpha then some magic trick ever would i dont see how it show dominance....

Flip through the pages in the Routines section. There are a lot of nice DHV gambits in there.

I believe that DHV can be as simply defined as basically showing the target that you deviate, in some way, from an AFC (usually there is at least one in the vacinity of your pickup ground). I think of it as an identifiable talent or feature that is distinguishing to you. Thus, this would encompass such things as magic tricks, mind reading, humour, playing an instrument, being good at a particular sport, or simply being a fine conversationalist.
