Lately ive been thinking is there a trend behind why we are PUAs? From what ive seen from Mystery, Style, AFC Adam,etc are more of "nerds" Not that is bad but (Most)nerds aren't really attracting women in droves. Are we all nerds that just got tired of not being taken seriously by women? I know I am a nerd, I still play Warcraft daily but at the same time I go out to the garage daily and work on my project cars that will eventually make its way to the drag strip. So what do you fellow PUAs do for fun? You can't spend your whole life gaming women or can you?

Well, I know a guy that is big into racing cars on the track and working on those cars, but he's also a computer guy.

I know students that don't have time for much else than school and running a bit of game.

I know people in pretty much every line of work you can imagine.

Whether they are all geeks underneath it all is something I can't say for sure, although I'd say the overwhelming population of PUAs is, which is also just something that seems to be the norm in our generation I'd say. If you ask most people between the ages of 14-32, many of them are self proclaimed nerds or geeks, so it's not an uncommon thing and only a select group that is drawn to the community.

As we all know, I am hopelessly addicted to the forum and pschoanalysing everyone and everything, even when I'm not here; that's probably my biggest pass-time, whether it be on the forum, on msn, or in real life conversation. Aside from that, I love listening to music and without it would go insane, so I usually am listening to some anywhere from 4-18 hours a day, depending on whether anything is keeping me from it. I also love cinematography, so I have a rather extensive library of ever expanind TV shows and movies that I love to watch and dissect. Yes, I truly am a geek and hope that I'm able to streamline my life and set asside enough time in order to be able to get back to playing WoW again before it becomes obsolete.

i've kinda incoorperated sarging with my everyday life. if i see a girl at the gym, yah im ganna hit on her.

But, most of all, i'm a ballroom/latin dancer through and through.

The reason why there are so many nerds here is that nerds are completely crap at attraction. But we understand math and structures. The non-nerds would never believe that a set of rules and techniques could compete with their natural charm, plus they dont like the way you have to remember routines etc...
Thats the feeling I get from it but then again, I am a nerd.

Im by no means a nerd... Im what you american guys would call the jock of the school, i represent them in rugby, soccer and basketball. I had girls plenty before but I didn't have the right attitude to approaching random girls which is why I started. I dont see why the skills and techniques developed by so many PUAs have to be exclusive to a certain type of person.

I got a couple of hobbies mainly surfing, rock climbing and playing music. Although I have just landed a job as stage manager for a burlesque night which is probably the greatest job ever. Apart from that I am a student doing a degree in Popular music so lectures tie up quite a bit of my time.

its not that we were all dorks who needed to attract women, most of the male population don't have the natural skill(thats probably like 1%), theres a lot of normal people, or even people you would consider with a reasonable success with women and that are in the 'mainstream community' that have just SO MUCH to learn about women... so this is just for each and everyone
