| The following essay is a stream of consciousness piece about everything PUA...how i first heard about it and where I am now... I recommend reading it but please no hating....
My boy nudges me on msn disrupting my english homework that I've been struggling over for an hour or two: fucking Hamlet. 'Have you heard about the pick up artist?' he asks randomly. 'What the fuck is that?' I reply not giving a shit about the answer. His response is a series of links to seminars, biography, and the show itself all centered around one man, Mystery. This funny dude with the overly large hat and black nails promises to make anyone better with women? No way. Im already conversing with 2-3 pretty chicks online at the time, Im seriously in no need of his help. Still I give the program a chance. I watch the first episode and immediately I'm hooked: Mystery, Matador, JDogg, weird names for weird men, all promising to make a bunch of fools into seducers. How would they go about it? I mean amongst these guys there was a 45 year old virgin, a ghostly like white dude and a guy that called himself Kosmo...wtf... Kosmo would eventually win beating that Christopher Reeves lookalike. I desired to dig further and so I did. First reading the Venusian Arts Handbook, then moving on to The Game... names came and went faster then advirtsements on the subway, amongst them Tyler Durden, Papa, Style, Ross Jeffries, Rasputin(deserves another wtf) and many more... By now I was fully encapsulated by the community itself but my hardheadedness forced me into relying on my 'natural' game, at 17 Id been laid by 4 different chicks, not bad at all but I required more. I required mastery over the venusian arts, the powers to excersize my love for the female specimen without obstacle. So I studied. Studying isn't the right word for the obsession that took over- negs, AMOGing, openers, closes, social dynamics, the cube, cold reads, disqualifiers, sarging pissed on my grade A english vocabulary. I loved this stuff, I desired to become one of these mPUAs and so I embraced the community starting with this forum. It all began with the name- King of Clubs, inspired by a poker game on full tilt in which the king of clubs completed my flush winning me a hand, pronouncing myself a winner at everything is one of my many annoying habits. I was ready to hit the field with my new techniques, discarding my natural 'you're stunning' or 'hey gorgeous' for my calculated new methods. This story has just begun but as I write Im tired as fuck and drifting to sleep as Im sure you all are by the end of this post.
