Hi guys, just wanted to share something (and ask for advice) seeing how I'm new and just need more exposure to this community...

I was on the tram the other day, trying to look cool and confident, spotted two asian girls getting on the tram wif a bagful of ikea shit, one of them was carrying this large ass mirror HB 7 & HB8.

Anyway I was thinking whether to talk to them, like to expose myself as much as possible getting rid of AA (or at least try) anyway a seat behind me freed up and one of the girls took it, so I used this opportunity to try to and just talk to them.

I asked the girl whether she wants to switch seats (she was sitting in the seat behind me) so she can be closer to her friend (i dunno), she quickly just said no and I kinda panicked.

So i switch to the girl holding the big ass mirror asking her wat it was (some ziggy mirror) trying to make so convo.
Here's an extract of how it went.

Me: Hey you mind me asking what you're holding?

HB8: It's a mirror.

Me: No way, its way too thin and got this weird shape, you can't possibly use that.

HB: No if you put it right it's great.

Me: So you're gonna put it on your closet or something?

HB: No we're gonna put it on the ground (she stumbled or some shit, nfi what she means)

Me: On the ground? How you're gonna use that? (At this time I sneaked a glance to the other chick, she was looking away from the convo)

HB: No i meant a wall.

Me: Oh, so why are you carrying a mirror by yourself.

HB: My parents are up there (points to somewhere near to front of the tram)

Me: Oh (laughing) that's funny...

At this point I shutup, I didn't feel like i was getting any IOI and making myself uncomfortable, when I got to my stop I just stood up and left.

I know I probably screwed up everywhere, any tips?

BTW i wasn't expecting to close or anything but just want to know why this convo didn't sustain itself (lasted for 3-4 minutes at best) was i askin too many questions? the tram was half full and i think that other HB was a relative or some sort, just want to know what an experienced PUA might have done and would he have succeeded.

you were doing well, you should have just transmitted to your routine, like maybe an opener "you know, you should be my personal fashion designer(pause) but wait, you might be putting the mirrors on the ground, im not so sure about you."
