At the weekend on a very crowded and loud dance floor I was doing my thang and spotted a girl on the stage I liked. She saw me too and beckoned my up onto the stage. I took her up on this, danced with her on the stage and we connected, tried to talk to her but she couldn't hear me. Pretty soon though her friend dragged her away! What do I do in this situation? Should I even have jumped into her hoop by joining on stage?

Later on I was dancing near a group of girls and apparently I was grinding too close and one of them looked angry at me and pointed me away from the dance floor wanting me to get off! I was just dancing doing my thing like everyone else going crazy on the floor. Just as that happened a girl I knew came and joined me and grinded up against me which saved my embarrasment. Anyway, what should I do in this situation or am I just taking this shit too seriously?

Usually the places where I go, if you even try to get to a point of higher elevation where a girl is dancing, the bouncers rip you down. Maybe it is different in other places, but most clubs/bars in NY only let the ladies on top of things, which I don't mind.

As far as going up on stage, not too sure if I would have done the same. If I had some drinks in me, probably. But, I would have tried to get her to come to me in some kind of a way.

Don't worry about being brushed off by the girls on the dance floor. I was dancing with a girl one time, for a few minutes. She was behind me, on my ass, then I don't know, in her drunken state, she decided to grab my head and push me away. I just turned, gave her a look like 'thanks, i didn;t like dancing with you anyways' and just moved on to another girl....

unless you are the best dancer goin, stay off the dance floor. picking up chicks is sooooooo much easier if you build attraction through conversation

all i can say about dancing is BEWARE of stupid moves go with the riddim dont shake ur head and legs like crazy take it easy and make simple moves i suggest u to watch fight club to get a good example of dancing (the scene that brad pitt was dancing with that marla girl when the cops arrived to her apartment) about the friend thing u should have isolated the girl long before when u are dancing so her friend wouldnt be bothering to you next time just try to take her to another place in the club and also if u are talking with her take her out of the club for a bit and bring her back to the club to dance again..
