Hi guys. I'm Andrey from Israel.

One of the best experiences I wanted to tell you about, is having weird stuff that lets girls comment on, and as such initiate conversation.

My common uncommon things are :
1) A Bowl Hat.
2) A special pin on the shirt.
3) A shark-tooth-necklace

My camera is a full blown DSLR, which stands out a lot if you carry it around. I've thought of bringing it along when I go out, in hopes that it will raise some questions, as well as allow for photo ops with girls and such. I worry that it may look dorky though. Thoughts? I'm a tall white guy, not your generic asian with an SLR, so I think it could work out.

No offense to any asians reading this, but I'm sure you know what stereotype I'm talking about.

you will look like the photographer for the venue. Could work out good or you could become a walking photo booth for drunk girls

Lol, that is possible, though its not the worst thing that could happen to me. I could just tease them about it and see where things go. I think I'll give it a try sometime and report back.

could drop some pretty funny shit with it actually like hey girls lets get a picture, ok if you can just take a few steps to the right (to the target) then cut them out of the pic lol
