Dam I can apporach fine and the first impression is cool, its jsut once i get out on a date I dont know what the fuck to say that isnt related to history, politics, art, music or somthing of the intelligent aspect or i can try to be funny and then i end up sounding liek i am typing like a person with the iq of a monkey what do i do?????

Or you could just game intelligent women, therefore you can use those subjects to your advantage And/or just broaden your knowledge of pop culture in general..Music, Movies etc etc..you'll always have something to talk about then

You could also try just getting into a fun role-play thing (E.g "We're so getting married. You'll be a perfect wife for me" etc) on the approach. Then on the Day2, you can use this to chat. If your date is in a city place, then there will be plenty of shops. Some will inevitably have furniture and stuff, so when you pass them go "Oh my.. That bed is AMAZING! We're definitly having that in our room!"
Similar ideas could be used in a lot of places such as art galleries ("We're having that in the entrance hall.") and other places.

Talk about the area too. There might be something really cool that she knows about and you don't, or vice versa. Just don't let it branch into the history side too much.

As Wit said, movies/music is a good thing to talk about. There's so much variety, it's probable that you and her will have differing tastes, even slightly. Try going into a music/movie shop and finding films /CDs you like. OR ones that look terrible and be like "Look at this! We SOO have to buy it and watch it on the projector"
