Let's start with Mystery. C'mon!!! He was a fucking illusionist before he started gaming. That's already frame. That's already attention-drawing. That's already a solid identity. That's already socially savvy.
Then there's Style, my personal favorite. Granted he was short, bald, and a bit nerdy but he was already a successful writer and stand-up comedian, am I right? I mean hell.... he already had the gift of gab. He was already used to grabbing peoples attention and holding it.
Some of the other guys like Tyler Durden, Sinn, etc. They seem like they already had strong, outgoing personalities to begin with.
So who out there has gone from a place where they were legitimately socially awkward (not just didn't get chicks, but had trouble just making friends and maintaining conversations) to a place where they're just killing it?
When I first started studying game and running sets I was very excited because it seemed like it was specifically directed to people like me who had a difficult time just interacting. But the more I read and listen to, the more I'm convinced that the people who are really successful are people who already had that kind of alpha mentality prior to learning pick-up and it just took a little tweaking. They already had that "Me first" attitude. They're already naturally extroverted and high energy.
