I don't believe I'm thinking to much when a HB walks by me and I want to say "hey" but I just don't because I have nothing to follow. FSU campus is full of great looking girls and so many HB10s pass me by daily. I say "hello, how are you?" and they one word respond with "good." But when it comes for me to follow up the girls attention is lost and shes oh so gone. I have some skills to make chicks laugh and carry convos. Any hints on having a better approach and ice breaker to these gorgeous and intelligent women how flow by me all day?

It's easy. Think about it... you normally do your opener, then you transition into whatever it is you do. How is having a "better" opener going to make them stop? If I want a girl to stop and talk to me, guess what? I tell her to.

Remember to smile, and just say "Hey, stop for a second" then go right into your normal routine the same way as if you'd approached a girl who was already standing still. Simple and effective.

I agree with dalziel, however there is nothing wrong with your line. The fact is if a girl replies with a straightout answer, she's not interested. I always use that line cos if a girl is interested at least in chatting she will say 'good, what about you?' and there you go. You're in.

Hey i know your new but if your struggling to even think of an opener for a girl than you need to do some more studying and practicing.

When i started out i learnt three openers, i then found the best way to transition to a false time constraint and a routine is by asking the time.

After opener - You: hey u got the time
Her: Yeah, its 3.30.
You: K cool, i only got a minute but...

there u go into ur next routine.

I'm not really into time constraints unless the conversation starts to drag a bit. I'm more about being social than actually picking up the chick. That way if she interests me that's good. I find that too many attractive girls in my area don't have social lives due to work, or just lack of interest lol.

I like the time suggestion. Another one would be if you're waiting for a train once you've got a few minutes left wander down the platform and see if there are any attractive girls. Then say 'hey, I've only got a couple of minutes before my train/bus arrives...' and take it from there.

I was chatting to a girl at the station the other night, she seemed really fun but I didn't realise my train was due in like 2 minutes so I didn't close.

You know everyone and including me at one point in time thinks that a opener is what its all about..Well news flash it isn't everything,sure you have to say something but really it could be the most simplest thing ever to get there attention..As for your "hello,how are you? opener thats what im saying its quick and simple,then she said"good" then you should have said ahh i c you put alot of effort into that response or ahh I would so make you bad,then smile,wink and go to your next routine..Just take a deep breath when your about to speak to her then just let it fly man...
