| Guys, the last month ive been really into MM and been reading books, watchign video seminars and everything. I really can relate to the stuff and I understand the basics on a deeper level. Of course, I have to practice. Finally Ive got the confidence to open up sets here and there... The last one I did was with 2 6's and lets say it didnt work out that well cause they were sitting down... I guess it was bad cause I seemed like I was too intimidating looking down on them... Anywyas, that shot my confidence a bit and was dissapointed...
Now the the success story.. Today on the bus (I had a couple drinks with a bud at the local university pub) I stand next to this HB8-9 blonde girl really cute. Anyways, I go into the female opinion jealous girfriend routine and she was really into it... after the opener, nothing is said for about 5 seconds cause I know for a fact how hard it is to transition from the opener to a legit convo. So I started with, quick the conversation is dying, say something interesting Shes laughs and to my surprise she tells me some interesting fact about how starbucks researcher cultivate coffee beans that have the most caffeine so they are more addicitive. So I say my turn and tell her something about how Elvis's natural hair color is actually dirty blonde and that he would dye it black (which is true in case you guys wanna use that one)... I then tell her its her turn and she cant htink of anything and I say man youre boring, youre supposed to be entertaining me (another good neg, role reversal stuff)... I say ok do you believe in ESP... go into that routine... luckily I guessed 3 and 7 and they were both right. Shes like "wow thats amazing.. I felt like changing my answer but I think its something to do with the snaps that makes you know what Im thinking"... Anyways, we go off into some tangents about what shes doing at school, what I'm doing (actually, she asked me what I was studying)... eventually, I found out she just transferred from another university for bad behaviour.. I negged her again saying what kind of girl are you blah blah... Eventually, I purposely asked her, so then you must not have many friends if youre new to the campus. Shes like no not really they are all still over back at the old university. So, I pull out my phone, stick it in front of her chest and say, put your number in here, and maybe this weekend Ill call you you can come out and meet some new friends... She puts her number in and tells me to call her so that she has mine... after that we talked a bit more and she told me she lives close by and she parked her car at the mall (which is where Im driving by anyways). I offer to give her a lift to her car, and say dont get any ideas.. im passing by there anywas. she laughs again and says oh thats fine I have til 7 to wait til anyways (it was 6pm). I say alright cool. She then says actually you know what I could do some shopping. I say sorry you blew your chance (in a very playful voice). She says OK ill come. Funny thing is, I get off at the next stop, and apparently the bus doors closed as she was about to get off (I was already off) and it drove away... I acted like it didnt matter to me but I was like damn that sucks! hahah
Anyways, I know you guys like to hear all the details which is why I typed it out. Let me tell you, this really brought alot of confidence to me because it showed by systematically doing all the MM stuff, it worked (minus the false time constraint)... I ended up with a number. One thing i should mention though, One thing Ive learned, even though It wasnt from any books, is that if you put a phone up to a girls chest facing her after speaking or building some rapport, their natural instinct is to take it and, if you asked, put their # into it....
I wanted to know your guys opinion on this. I was really impressed with myself regardless, as this is the first success Ive had. Thing is, I didnt notice at the time cause I was pleased with myself, but I dont remember any of the IOIs I would look for, like hair touching, scratching etc. I guess some of the things she did were IOIs like asking stuff about me, or mentioning the first interesting fact etc...
What I was thinking was to call her this weekend and say, hey its so and so (I wont mention 'we met on the bus' cause I expect her to remember - or should I?). Ya Ill say hey its so and so... Im gonna be heading out tonight to wherever with some friends, you should come out and have a good time meet some new people.... If she says she cant Ill say no probs call me if you change your mind... If she doenst pick up Ill try later that night with another call (or voicemail or text)...
