How would you respond to this?

HB: I know your type.

Thorsten: really, what are you talking about?

HB: You are one of those picky guys when it comes to girls

Thorsten: oh wow, change of topic? I can see where this is going.

HB: no no, what am i on your scale? Am I a 2, a 4, an 8?

What the hell do i say to that? That is the second time she has bought that up. I got out of it the first time, but i didn't have a chance this time.

I just told her that I don't use the scale anymore ( that deff didn't do much for me.) she just responded by saying, that is a good thing and a smart answer. I can't help but think that she took that answer as saying that i don't think she is attractive.

She also asked me earlier in the night what i think is attractive in a girl. Thank god ( i think ) that someone came in and changed that topic. This girl was just full of question that just ate me alive tonight. On the upside, there was some light flirting, downside i think i am gonna be headed to a ljbf if i don't work through this in the next few days.

What am i supposed to do when i am asked stuff like that? When a girl just will not drop it? I am thinkin that if it comes up again, i am just gonna be direct and tell her whats up (or maybe i will do that even if it dosen't?).

I'm new here, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but it seems to me that you got flustered, which is kind of like failing a shit-test... maybe you could have smiled and said something like "6.5, but you have potential... physical beauty is so ordinary anyway, I'm more interested in women who display positive energy" etc...

Any thoughts?

(With this response you avoid getting on the defensive and reacting to her by trying to explain that you don't use the scale... then you can pass the test but transition into something a little more conducive to good rapport. Also, you wouldn't want to say she's really high on the scale for obvious reasons. Anyway, that was just one idea).

I've seen mystery use this line before - you may want to shift what her measurements are to a different scale.... just say i don't use the scale of 1 - 10... simply because "beauty is all too common - in an attractive girl I find that they must have, a great energy, a great personality, and a great outlook - you got two outta three so there's a start" (credit mystery). Then switch it up to C - F

Yeah, Meth's replies are good, but when it comes to that last line of hers, just say you don't judge on just looks. Use Mystery's "Beauty is common, you're either born with it or you pay for it. It's what you do that counts." Or just tease her about it, "Ask me again later, my reply is hazy today."
