What are some simple ways for newbies like me to DHV?

I can open sets, fluff talk, neg here and there, but it's hard for me to DHV.

by living an interesting life. DHV stories should not only describe an event that happened in your life, but your personality as well. I suggest you take a look at this article on intro to story telling.

I think story telling is key slowly over time you will build up your own stories then you can write them down and emmbed DHV's into them. Its not easy there are no products that really talk about it but its a fundamental part.
