ok so i know some black woman are sensitive about their hair. And everyone knows that not noticing when a woman does something with her hair makes you the scum of the earth, especially if she somehow notices your every haircut. But if a black woman straightens her hair and you compliment it, are you saying something against nappy hair? If she makes it curly and you compliment it, are you coming off as one of those "ooh ooh can I touch your hair I wish my hair could do that" people? Obviously saying nothing is not the thing to do, but just "nice haircut" doesn't really work, esp since there isn't even cutting involved.

Just tell her her hair looks good, she can take it how she wants to.

First off all girls change their hairstyle because they think it makes them feel more beautiful so you could say something like.

" There is something differen about you today. I am just getting these strong vibes"
